Spurious attempts to get a celeb on Twitter to reply to you by constructing a complicated tweet that seems either a) too clever to be ignored, b) Embarrassingly trite or c) referencing a dying relative who might just recover if their uncle / aunt / cousin got a reply. In extreme cases, the Twitterer employs sites such as ‘twittords.com’ to coin a word to try to get said celebs attention.
